FTAFA is proud to announce that our talented fencers will represent MALAYSIA at the Asian Juniors & Cadets Fencing Championships 2025, held from February 19th to 28th in Kuwait. This prestigious competition brings together the best young fencers from across Asia, and we are thrilled to have our athletes compete at such a high level.
Our qualified representatives are:
Cadet Men’s Foil
- Uzair Zafran Badroel Rizwan: A determined and skilled competitor, Uzair has already competed in major tournaments, including AJC Tashkent 2023 (Cadet & Junior) and AJC Bahrain 2024 (Cadet & Junior). His experience will be key in taking on the best fencers in Asia.
- Ewan Yunus: Making his debut at the Asian Juniors & Cadets, Ewan brings fresh energy and strong technical skills, ready to prove himself against seasoned competitors.
Cadet Women’s Foil
- Nur Qalesha Mohd Radzuan: Having previously competed at AJC Bahrain 2024 (Cadet), Nur Qalesha is prepared to bring her expertise and fighting spirit to Kuwait, determined to make a strong impact.
Junior Men’s Foil
- Uzair Zafran Badroel Rizwan: Competing in both cadet and junior categories, Uzair’s versatility and international experience, including performances at AJC Bahrain 2024 & AJC Tashkent 2023 (Junior & Cadet), make him a serious contender for a medal.
- Umar Zafran Badroel Rizwan: A dedicated fencer with past appearances at AJC Tashkent 2022 (Cadet), AJC Tashkent 2023 (Junior), and AJC Bahrain 2024 (Junior), Umar is well-versed in high-level competition and ready to take on the best.
Junior Men’s Épée
- Ahmad Aiman Shah Nazman Shah: Stepping onto the international stage for the first time, Ahmad is making his debut in Kuwait. Armed with skill and determination, he aims to gain invaluable experience and compete fiercely against Asia’s elite épéeists.
